OUR PRAYERS are with all those who are affected by the massive wildfires in Northern California, especially those in Sonoma, Napa, Yuba, and Mendocino counties. We prayer for the firefighters, policeman and everyone helping in this dangerous situation. We pray for all those who have lost their homes, for those who are missing and for the safety of those who are still in harmís way. We also pray for rain!

OUR CONTINUED PRAYERS are with the victims and their families of Las Vegas, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Texas and Florida. We pray for Godís healing power. May God continue to comfort them in their time of need, give them hope, strength and help them to rebuild their lives in the midst of their hardships.

Martin Luther believed that in order

for the people to have a

meaningful worship experience

they needed to have a worship service

that they could understand.

So, Martin Luther rewrote the liturgical service

from Latin into the language of the people.

He also felt that the people needed

to participate in worship.

He felt that responsive prayers,

responsive liturgy, and music

accomplished this goal.

ďHis worshippers must worship

in spirit and in truth.Ē

 John 4:35
